Default Converter question

What is the difference between an aftermarket converter for a ls1 and lt1? Don't they have the same tranny in them??

The converters are completely different. The transmission uses a different input shaft, and the converter bolt pattern is different also. The LT1 (and LS1 Corvette) used a 298mm while the LS1 used a 300mm design.
Hope it helps.
