swapped from m6 --> a4, got a question
swapped from m6 --> a4, got a question I did a search and didnt find what i was looking for. We put a a4 in my buddys 02 ta. I was reading on the whole wiring deal. Some people switched out the whole harness but seen you only needed to change something under the pass. side kick panal? He has a doner car to pull what he needs out of it. So what exactely should he look for at certain spots? This is the only thing we got left and a lot of other posts were getting real confusing.
Going from A4 to M6 requires a few wires be added/switched. A few as in 4 or 5.
Never did M6 to A4 but there are a bunch of wires that need to be added to plug into the trans. I say this because my A4 to M6 swap has a huge wiring harness stuffed up under it that used to go to the trans, now connected to nothing, and everything works fine.
