Default DTC P0758 2-3 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

I'm getting this code. If I drive the car cold it stumbles in gear and only has 2 gears and wont downshift and acts like it wants to shut off. After the car is warm if I shut it off and restart it itll shift through the gears but really fast and wont downshift out of od. I ordered a new wiring harness and auto harness to replace the wiring but havent installed it yet. I tried replaceing the shift soiliniod but it didnt help. Also the car shifts really hard now. What causes this and what's the fix? Car is a 98 camaro.

Well your going in the right direction with the harness you have eliminated the solenoid itself now by replacing the 3-2 solenoid. electrical faults can cause the trans to misbehave in numerous ways. I would replace that harness first and see where you end up then .
Good luck and feel free to call.post or private if you need anything

i replaced the solonoids 3 times trying to get rid of the codes and shifting problems. I finally had Mike at Rapid delete the codes and now I'm ok.

It's the stock converter. Ive allready got the wiring so Ill give it a shot. If that doesnt work I'll just turn the code off. I still want to understand why the code set on a stock converter car though since I hear usually the people that get this code have upgraded tqverters.
