Re: Any F-Body with 4L80E?
That's alot of money NOT to know what's been upgraded. I can understand some discretion, but honestly if another competitor really wanted to steal their tricks and secrets, they could just buy one of them and tear it down to see what's been done. Why does the automotive aftermarket try to make us cast aside normal logic when spending gobs of cash on parts?

Once or twice (in person) Chuck from FLP has described and listed the changes he makes to create an FLP level IV.
To be frank, I couldn't remember everything! I also did not understand some of what he was talking about.
Be advised he does all the traditional things like remove and inspect all parts, install new clutches and a new band, plus all the little things he does to make the assembly work best for a hardcore application.
He also would do things like get certain parts hardened and he would also build up some internal parts like the input drum to beef it up.
