anybody got any 700r4 trannys laying around for sale that are used and working or maybe rebuild and sitting around? i need a 30 spline for a 1986 and up car.

Post in the "Parts Wanted" section. You may have better results there. I would also check some 3rd gen boards or Ebay.

daily driver plus used CHEAP, doesnt make much sense.

how many "cheap" transmissions do you plan on putting in there? 3? 4? 5? Could have bought one that would last a decade and a half.

i just got a tranny from a guy that lives in my area for $250 and was supporting 500hp. i think it'll last me in my POS 305 tbi rs camaro.


hmm.. maybe this doesn't make much sense either montec, but unless you had anything to offer, leave your worthless .02 OUT!

that's okay. thanks for the info though. i way look into your top line 700 tranny if i decide to go with OD in my 85z28 with 383 and get rid of my turbo 400.
