What exacly is it?
I searched and I honestly couldnt find a clear cut answer. I even searched jegs and summit for it and I cant find anything. What is a trans break, where do i find them, and how do they work. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I had to ask. Thanks

a trans brake is NOT comparable to line lock.
a trans brake won't allow the tires to spin, as opposing gears (R and 1st) and engaged simultaneously..
whereas line lock simply locks the front tires (using the brakes, nothing to do with the transmission) and allows the back tires to spin freely, mostly for burnouts. my experience with line lock is that it's good for burnouts, bad for the start line...a car on slicks will push the front tires if only line lock is used to hold the car at the beams.
