I have a opportunity to pick one up real cheap. I am wanting to go th400 and wondering if there is anything I need to stay away from- certain vehicles it may have come out of or are they all pretty much the same.

The guy told me 100 bucks, and is a very good guy. It is complety stock, and is still in working condition.

IMO, let the tranny shop, like TP, buy the core. they arent going to mark it up and they are going to get the right setup for you. i love mine.

ya thats what I was thinking as well. I haven't priced out too many t400 and 100 buck didn't sound bad.

$100 is about the usual price for a core

I paid my local shop 100 for the core when I had mine built.
