Yank 3600ss and some other ???
Im ordering my Yank tommorow 3600ss was gonna do it today but been researching and asking questions to other companies about other products. This is what Im also ordering this week HSW wet kit,(safety assesories too)Powerbond crank pulley,transgo,B/M 24Tcooler,Setting up tune at Futural in early April,Do you guys think I should add a deep pan too,Seen 1 for around $150 holds 2 extra quarts would that do anything to help keep the trans cool being only 2 extra quarts? Also I was sold on the VIG3200 but Im just gonna go with Yank sounds like its a pretty efficient convert up top (been debating on this for like the past 6months).Hows that 3600 2.5str gonna be with my3:73s is it gonna be about as tight around town as I need it to be,also what about launching am I gonna be able to hook on Mickey ETstreetsDrags?(Il be full bolt ons and spraying with 1st locked out)

I have the SS 3600 in my 05 GTO. I also have the deeper pan and a B&M Cooler. Everything seems to be working together. No problems and the converter is definately a plus.
I am using the 275 Nitto's. Havent had them at the track in warm conditions yet, but from what I hear, MT's are gonna be in my future real soon.

You'll hook great with the SS3600 and ET Drags. The pan should also come with a drain bolt where as the stocker requires the pan to be removed. A fluid change is a great idea and very cheap insurance. I change my fluid 3X before pulling the pan and changing the filter, but I change it quite frequently since it's cheap, quick and good insurance.
A good 24,000 tranny fluid cooler is a better investment over the pan if you don't have one. Just my opinion.
Good luck!!

Did you have to do any transmission tuning when you intalled the SS3600?

Yank Yes a pan is a good idea,
you need the pan to get back to the stock oil volume as with the smaller converter you lost about 2 qts from the system,
so at this point you are really about 2 qts lower than with the stock converter
I was always under the impression the cooler the trans is the less like for it to go out. so do whatever u can to keep it cool.

Looks like you have the complete setup there!! You'll love the Trans Go shift kit, I had mine setup with only one washer and had some feed holes drilled out and it's been great on my 95% street driven car.
