If you are going for all out speed and understand you will be going through a tranny or two, go with a Yank 4k or 4200 PT.

If streetability and reliability are your main concerns a smaller Vig 2800 or 3200 would be great.

Good question. I'm looking for a 3600 converter. Everyone says the Vig converters are actually bigger than they are rated. If a Vig 3600 is actually 38-3900 stall, then I would probably want a 32-3400 vig. Most say the Yank SS3600 drives like stock and is tighter than a comparable Vig. Should I be comparing the 32-3400 vig with a SS3600 Yank. I have no preference of brand because I have not owned either. Car is not a daily driver, but will see many miles on the street, and the track occasionally.

I have one too and I wouldn't say it drives like stock. There is a noticeable difference. Nothing too bad, but rpms are higher and it takes more to move around. And you don't take off anymore just by letting off the brake . haha
