looks like weather was the answer to my question. DA back in november was -347 and in march this year with the converter DA was 1166.

Now the question is, what's the correction factor? Meaning how much positive DA takes away from MPH and how much negative DA adds to MPH? Is it for every +500/-500 DA you take away 1mph/add 1mph or is there more to it?

when i calculated it for my car about a year ago it was right around every 800ft was a 1 mph/10hp difference

so you lost 3 mph and the da change of 1500 so say 1600, so looks like the converter lost you about 1mph, not that bad of a loss but i would always expect to stay even or gain from a conveter swap...the typical loss from a fuddle from most people posting that consider da and all other conditions is either 0 to -1 mph...

got to compare same conditions apples to apples...

So now all you need is that air again and you might get your 12.00 or maybe even a high 11

Wow when I ran last, the weather was at +1900 DA and the car trapped 113. So by your estimate of every 800ft is 1 mph, the car should be trapping 115-116 in ideal conditions. Sounds very nice

From what I see it would appear that the car is laying over at the top end. It is probably time to step the cam up. I believe you will then see the improvement you are looking for.

currently with the stall its 87 to 88 mph. last year before stall my best was 90mph. im going to the track tomorrow night. da should be really good as it is only supposed to be around 40 deg. and Ill see then for sure if its was just the bad weather that made my car slower.

I think you should try it several different ways. My A4 in drive runs 3/10 slower than it does in 3rd gear from a zero dead-launch. The car runs great numbers in 3rd gear. Try it and see, and slam that pedal through the floor without stalling up and I bet your 60" will be even better.
