No..he is still running a stocker. I have told him that an after market converter would be a good first mod.

Personally I would do and aftermarket converter and trans then go from there and put worrys as you build behind you.

When he is ready I know he will be calling you. I need to turn up the heat on him to get some go fast goodies on that hotrod. A solid trans and converter is a great place to start.

Cool. The reason I was aking was I've seen some cars (mine included) get a shift solenoid code with high stall converter. Goes into limp mode and all. I used to get it about once a month. Had previously swapped out solenoids. So....turned off code and haven't had an issue.
