Like general motors. It bolts up. You just need a crank pilot adapter.

oh i didn't relize that, I though it was like th350/400 it was a differnt bellhousing if im not mistaken. thanks

It is like the 350/400. They bolt up too.

The GEN III/IV engine has moved one of the bolt holes to the 12-o'clock position. Any GM tranny will bolt up, but I am not sure if it is NHRA legal. I believe an adapter plate is required if you are wanting to bolt a standard GM tranny to an GEN III/IV. There are shops out there that make TH400, TH350, and PG with the GEN III/IV bolt pattern.
