Re: car shudders when converter locks *****, I posted about this same problem a few weeks ago after I put in my cam.
Mine shudders anywhere below 40mph with the converter locked.. when it`s unlocked (while braking too) I have no problems.
My solution was to LS1 Edit the converter to unlock and stay unlocked any speed below 42MPH @ 0 tps.

Re: car shudders when converter locks its a comp 224 cam. my buddy said he had a mustang that used to do that when he put a cam in. just feels like the transmission going wacko and is pretty annoying. i should have been more clear though- it only does it when its coasting, not while on the gas and i cant feel/hear it when im on the brakes. how do i fix this?
