You need a tranny cooler.

A cooler is a great idea of course and some cars require some tuning to get the shiftpoints right and or if the 7xx codes come up.

cooler is a must, small tune to adust shift points would help also, a deeper trans pan is another idea, and maybe a shift kit if you want.

Probably will need to adjust the idle for reverse in the tune as well.

You'll need a tranny cooler and tune the shift points so you can get the most out of it.

I perfer a Tranny cooler, shift kit and trans tune to be done when adding a 3000+ stall converter.
You might need a new tranny shortly after that many times if you don't do the cooler.

Those 7xx are trouble code numbers that might pop up after the stall install, I had code 0757 come on after my stall was in, and it was tuned out.

Default 3600 swap

Nope, i ran a 3000 tci last season with just sticky tires and ran into the twelves. so this year i swapped in a 3600 from fuddle. If you are doing a stall only you'll be just fine. Assuming your not swapping gears, then you will want some tuning. But you wont have any problems with the 3600, just get some sticky tires for racing.
