exactly what the topic says. just trying to figure out if there are ways to have it be cheaper than the Yank kit. i know of all the parts involved, just trying to get a ballpark figure of parts cost. Thanks!

Well I paid about 2500-2800 for EVERYTHING I needed. which is definately cheaper than the yank kit. Which IMO is a ripoff for the price they charge.

Edited: Forgot to add that that price is for a 2.75 first gear in the tranny. For a stock 2.48 first gear subtract about $450 from that price. And also that price above is including a transbrake which is a 500 dollar option on the yank kit

Screw Yank. They are RAPING alot of the the LS1 guys around.

 

I agree with McGyver on the Yank kit. Things also get cheaper if you are goin' from an A4 to an A3.
