Default Re: Aftermarket Converter Survey!

Would you all mind answering a few questions for me? I am trying to do some reaserch to see what company is the best all around for converters.. I would like to compile this data into a webpage for all to see and benefit from.. Do not let my user name fool you I drive an A4 now..

1. Which Converter do you have? Super Yank 3500

2. What tranny? (Ex: Stock 4l60e, TH 350 etc...) Stock

3. What rear end gears do you have? (NEW QUESTION) 3.23

4. What is the STR? (NEW QUESTION) 1.6

5. Street Manners on a scale of 1 to 10(10 being stock converter, 1 being completely not streetable) 9

6. Track time improvements (ie .5 in the 1/4 .3 in the 1/8) never been to track

7. Avg 60ft and what tires? na

8. Do you have any custom tuning related to the converter? no

9. Any major problems? Ocassionally on hilly terrain, it will not lock up and then shift very hard. Once I stop and turn off the car, it goes away. On really cold days, sometimes convertor will not lock.

10. Have you dealt with the customer service of the company? How would you rate it on a scale of 1 to 10? na...haven't tried to call him since I bought the convertor 2yrs ago. Of course, back then he was a little easier to get ahold of.

11. Overall satisfaction (10 totaly satisfied, 1 hate it wish I never bought this converter) 9

Addtional Comments...

I really like this convertor for the street, but something that has more power from a roll and on the highway like the TP4000 would be nice.
The Initial site is up!! I will continue to update, but Just wanted to ley you all know it is up!
