1200 for a rebuilt or repair? If the shop is just sticking in a sun shell then 1200 bucks is ridiculous.

I mainly due bench jobs, unless i screw up and have to pull it out. But when someone just wants a sunshell put in i charge 300 bucks, i open up the pump and check it out, check the band, check the reverse input frictions and the input drum frictions. Usually have to replace the 3-4 clutches from the teeth getting eaten away.

They are doing a complete rebuild on it,with new band's and the sunshell with everything else that go's along with it from what he told me.
