Quick question i can not seem to find an answer for yet. I have a chance to pick up a Vig vertor that came out of a buddies Camaro.

I want to use it in my girls GTO. He has a 98 F-body and Hers is the LS2 06 Goat.
Keep looking for a convertor or will this work?
Any differences from an LS1 to the LS2?
any diffs from the 4L60E to the 4L65E?
As far as bolting them together goes.

4l60e and 4l65e are the same mounting. internals are the only difference.

The vertor will work just fine!!!!!
I will be taking that from ya real soon Shawn.

We need to go back and line up the bikes again,that was a blast!
