Default TCI Flexplate, do I need to sand off the paint...

I've seen guys do this before and recently just saw MightyMouse here on the board do it as well.....do you really need to sand off the paint on the TCI flexplates mounting points/pads???

Why would you have to do this?

ahh thats why huh, makes sense. Why in the hell do they paint em then

If the paint crumbles and the bolts loosen that can lead to all sorts of physical damage to the car and possibly to the driver....lawsuit waiting to happen
