Default 4l60e tranny problems

OK so i got the stall and shift kit finished today and went for a cruze..i installed a TCI super streetfighter 3500 stall and the trans go trans pack, the one with all the aluminum pistons and springs and seperator plate stuff..so anyway. i went for a cruze to test it out and when i stopped to look under the car again it was dripping from the split line area on the bell housing and the little access hole. so i guess i am going to have to take it all back apart to try to change the front seal in the morning. and to top it all off on the way back home my service engine light came on with a code 1860..What the H3LL is that code from? anyone know were the stall/tranny code be leaking from in the front beside the front seal or the little packing/o-ring on the front shaft? anyone in the pensacola FL area want to give me a hand?

It is possible that the converter has a pin hole in one of the welds. You might want to pressure test it with some air. Take the cap that came with the converter install it with a hose clamp on it. Poke a small hole in it and then apply air to it. Make sure to brake clean the converter first so that it is good and dry. Inspect for leaks around all of the welds. Good luck. Vince

The solenoid is in the valve body and has to do with converter lockup. The solenoi ould be bad a wire could be pinched or it could simply be unplugged. Since you put the shiftkit in and had to unhook it to remove valve body thats where I would look first.
