TP4000 ordered, do Yank need to know about my 427?
I placed an order for a YTP4000 through a forum vendor & fortunately Yank has one in stock & they are in the process of shipping it to me.
However, Yank do not know that I have a 427 motor. Would I be able to use that converter without a problem or do I have to tell Yank that I have a 427 motor? I do understand that the TP4000 converter would stall between 4300-4400 behind a 427, but is there anything else?
Bottom line, should I cancel this order and have Yank build a converter made specifically for a 427? or should I just use the one they have in stock?

Yes, he will build a verter to stall at a certain speed with few set specs. Like your cal will be making the tq of a 346.
IF he does that and you put it behind a 427...your stall will not be right. You will stall higher than Yank intended it to and you might not be happy.
Also with that kind of tq, you might want the 6 lug housing.
Good luck and give mike at Yank a call.
