Default torque converter going out?

is there any test or anything to do to figure out if this is what is wrong with my car?

just feels like the transmission is slipping. it started out just doing it like once a week or so. but now its getting worse about every time i drive the car. the car is an a4 and when i shift it manually the slipping is a lot more noticeable.

Sounds like your clutch packs are slipping. Probably time for a rebuild.
