4L60E tailshaft on a TH350?!

4L60E tailshaft on a TH350?! Someone said a 4L60E (700r4) tailshaft will bolt up to the back of a 9" shaft TH350. Can someone who has both trannies give it a look? It would allow you to use the stock torque arm if true. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: 4L60E tailshaft on a TH350?! You can get a adapter for your th350 to mount the tq arm on the tranny like the 4l60e. I got mine form summit.

Re: 4L60E tailshaft on a TH350?! I looked up trans dimensions at www.tciauto.com . The tail housings should be the same length on the 4L60 and the th350. I don't know if the bolt pattern is the same where they bolt to the trans.

Re: 4L60E tailshaft on a TH350?! No such luck. TH-350s I have had *4* bolts on the extension housing (4L60-E has 6. Granted, they made TH-350s for MANY MANY years. Perhaps there is a different extension housing with 6 bolts)
BTW, TH-400 does have 6 bolts (suspect THIS is what somebody was dreaming of), and no, it won't fit either (I measured the bolt spacing. Obviously there would be problems with output shaft DIAMETER on that, anyway!)
