Rock On Level 4 4L60e ??? thoughts???
Our level four transmission has evolved over several years. It sets the standard for the highest quality, durability, craftsmanship, drivability and performance of any 4L60E on the market today. It is second to none. This transmission is set up for street / stripe applications, it’ll take N/A or superchargers, fit right in with the nitrous crowd or a direct stock replacement. Smooth street shifting or aggressive, neck snapping, nail- biting, sit you back in your seat shifting should you decide to get on it. Take it to the track or just drive it around town you’ll thoroughly enjoy this unit. Stop by and see what our clients have to say about it. Compare for yourself you’ll see the difference quality has to offer. .

any feedback on this build???
He builds a pretty good unit. Lost touch with him very early last year after his shop closed... professional type relationship, we compared notes on 60's a couple of years ago. I pulled up his website and dialed the # on the contact page.... busy signal many times. Lemme know if you talk to him, I'd like to say hey to him again.

In their prime Rock On was hard to beat.
We have been into a few of their units that had problems and they are solid.
From what I understand the quality fell off significantly in like say the last 6 months of operations. Prior to that, they were serious about what went into their units. You won't hear anything negative from me about them. I talked to Dave on more than one occasion after he had his troubles and I know he did the best could could with what life handed him. That doesn't mean some guys weren't left holding the bag, it just means I sat and talked to him about what happened in the end, and I learned from his mistakes. It wasn't pretty from what I heard from him and some of his customers. Bad ole deal there for everyone involved.

I had mine for ~500 miles and 2/3 bottles of spray and it went out. I ended up losing 3rd and 4th.
Still had warranty as it was only 4 or so months later. Tried to get a hold of Dave at Rock on and they went out of business a week after they overnighted my tranny and did not even want their box back with my core. Seems to me they put crap parts in and did not want their box/core to save on shipping charges. I paid ~2G's from wy stage 4 and it was junk.
So, I havean FLT stage V now and its held up to 10 or so pass's and 8/10 bottles of the juice. So, be carefull with the Rock on crap.
It was about a year ago. It sounds like you bought your tranny not long before they went under, and from what I heard, their last batch of units were pure junk, little more than upgraded clutches. Being as your tranny went out in so little time, I wouldn't be surprised if you got one of their "built units" that was barely any stronger than a stocker or worse. I wouldn't buy anything even affiliated with Rock-On. They screwed a lot of people towards the end of their run
I would like to get my ~2G's back as the tranny was garbage and the warranty did not mean ****.
I sold the box and the core so no proof of even owning the trans now.
