The way i see it, you really can't go wrong with a TH350.
Pros
You lose weight from the swap.
Gain ET.
T-Brake
FMVB
cheaper to buy and build
no electronic Bull ****!
no tuning needed.
Cheap maintenance

Cons
No OD the #1 concern for most street car guys.
higher revs going down the interstate bc of #1

Thats about it

In my case, I have a Spohn adj TQ Arm and its bolted to the Body and not the back of the Trans. that could be one way on how to deal with it. I don't trust the stock TQ Arm's. Mine ended up looking like the letter "S" after a hard launch.

Im actually still on my stock Torque arm but no hard launches on it yet ..

Yes the VSS setup can be had for i think around $250 and your speedo will work again. (This is from Rossler and no they are not a sponsor)

As for the free type that sux2bu wrote up. You have to sacrifice your ABS in order to do this. I did not use this method and i do not recommend it bc of the ABS.
For this method you have to take the ABS sensor off the front wheel and the splice some wires from the ECM (I think) and then it will plug into the stock speedo connection by the tranny.
Now i've never used this method nor have i seen anyone do this so im really not for sure exactly how it all hooks up. Do this at your own risk ofcourse. Sometimes the cheap way is not the best way. .

i would rather spend $250 in order to keep my ABS....either that or increase my chances of loosing my car.

Can you PM me the link of this device you speak of? Thank you.
