Need some Help
Need some Help Here is the story in a nutshell, i have a 99' TA with a 408 putting out 500hp/500+torque and I have been through 3 trannys. The first was the factory 4L60-e , obviously that one was gonna die, then i went to the TH350 with a TCI stall built by Texas-Speed. Great tranny only problem is I need a 4rth gear, i live in Hawaii gas is 3.25 a gallon. Also, The sensor wouldnt connect to the tranny and i bought the drive shaft adaptor but I am to dumb to install it, so i had no odometer/speedometer readings. then i said screw it I am goin to find a deal on a 4l60-e built and bought one from www.transperformance.net a level 3 which looked good. For 2k it was at my doorstep. He neglected to tell me it had no bellhousing, tailshaft and i had to get a convertor. 1k later I installed it and with in 2 weeks it died, found metal shavings in the pan, leaks all over and it didnt feel like it had a shift kit .I GOT HUSTLED Now , i have 2 trannys sitting at my house and i need to find a tranny that actually will handle my needs. All i NEED is the tranny itself, no stall, bellhousing, tailshafts. Also, I have CORE . Anyone know a good place to get one for a good price?
Will they waranty it I see they claim a two year warranty? I dont know much about them other than there we site at one time had many elements copied directly from ours and another companies site which was corrected! And a few other small issues. Have you contacted them? As for another trans with the shipping to H I am not sure thats really feasable. We offer units with no core or core charge you may want to look at if you cant work out anything with them.

At first i tried to contact them and they were answering, as soon as i told him of the problem his phone stopped working and now i cant get a hold of them. i believe its a bogus site and the guy just hustled me. do you sell just a valve body. and which one would you recommend for about 650/650 thats prolly the max i will put to it.
If its full of metal you are gonna need more that a valve body and as for a trans level 2 mi level 3 preferred. Sorry you cant get hold of him. have you tried calling from a different number?

Our level 3 is our highest. and while yes you are pushing a 4l60e hard there it should be fine and you dont have to worry we arent going anywhere and always answer the phone or call you right back . Ideally honestly is you are planning any further buildup at all you should consider a 4l80e conversion. But Our level 3 should be suitable. In either case read our warranty think it over and let me know. you can read all you need on our website linked below
