4l60 question
Just had a new 4l60 built for a 99 camaro. Put in a known good yank 4000 stall, and the car didn't move. Put the scanner on it, and it had no input shaft rpm. Took the trans back out to find the splines on the new input shaft worn down almost all the way. Is there any reasonable explanation for this? thanks
I would have to beleave there is some issue with that converter, You said it was in a T/A but what year is each car?

Well there wasnt a mismatch there but the converter is still suspect, Is there any way you could take picks of this splines that are messed up on the trans now?

Oh and was looking at your OP and you say you put a scanner on and there were no input shaft rpm. And there wouldnt be since the 4l60e has no input speed sensor. It only sees engine RPM and OUTPUT speed just FYI .
