my 10 bolt is going out again for the second time. i never did use the stud/girdle kit or synthetics i have used all gm stuff. so should i rebuild the 10 bolt with maybe a HD zexel or just pony up for a 12 bolt?

When I decided to change gears, I decided I wasn't going to be constantly being towed from the track. Put the money in 12 bolt and enjoy the peace of mind and reliability.

 

Definatly get the 12 bolt, if you redo the 10 bolt you will regret it when it breaks again.

If anybody is interested we have a Moser 12 bolt housing on e-bay right now. Here is the link:

I would go for the Moser to avoid putting money in the 10 bolt again in the future
