Default Stall Recommendation

I have an '98 LS1 A4 with the following mods:
SLP Lid
3.73
Mac Headers
Suspension mods
Nittos 555r

I am planning on installing a TSP XS Series Camshaft:
Magic Stick V.3 237/242 .603/.609" LSA 114.

My question is: what type of Stall should I go with and brand would be appreciated. It will be used as a daily driver and track use during summer months.

Is there anything else I should be considering?

Thanks for your help,

Jim

Vig, Yank, or Edge with a 4000 stall speed is what I'd choose

I'd say call Tim @ PTC (256) 383-6868 or check out there web site.. http://www.ptcrace.com/ All you have to do is tell them what you have and they will recommend and build one for your application.

If you're staying NA, a SS4000 will really wake your car up off the line!! Yank SS converters are very efficient and street friendly

would it be fine to run the MS3 with a vig 3200 and some 3.73? i know vigilante under rate there stalls, so the vig 3200 is really like a 34-3600 stall.

3500-4200 is good

for drag radials stick with a str lower than 2.5...... 2.2 is ideal

stalls need tranny coolers and tranny temp gauges and dont like city driving

a tune is reccomended

dont go above 3800 stall if you gonna spray

i run a 3800 2.2 str converter for my ms3 cammed sprayed car i would say its a perfict fit for your application so long as you can stand the street mannors of a stall
