I think my SS3600 is 100% completely streetable, even in an extended cab truck.... the definition of streetable is all relative to what you like and dont like...

VIG 3800 here. Wish I had gone bigger. If your getting a higher stall, go big or go home. I like the way my 3800 drives better than the stock one. I dont DD my car, but if I did I would want something bigger even then. I would say you will be 100% fine with anything under 4000. Probably above 4000 as well, but this is all I can speak of from experience.

My recommendation would be to keep the stall speed somewhere in the 2800 - 3600 range for the street. Especially if you intend on spraying it with that 100 shot. Mkae sure the converter has an anti ballooning plate as well.

Basically any convertor can be streetable, just depends on whether or not you care about gas mileage or not. i gotta yank pt4000 and drive it all the time, even to the track

DD a Yank SS4000 and loved it. Now I'm anxiously awaiting my PT4400 to go with my new FLT tranny and 4.10's. On a DD .

I have the ss3600, a mild cam, and 3.23 gears and the car is my dd. My last trip to the pump I got 21mpg (about an equal mix between highway and city), and the car feels so much stronger, faster, and smoother than stock. Car is killer from a dig, and gained a lot from roll racing too (seems to be a big myth that stalled autos suck from a roll).

No complaints here.

Yeah I don't agree with the stalled auto from a roll myth either. It's way better than the stock stall. Granted, the M6 guys have an advantage from a roll, but they always will regardless of what mods the A4 has.

Good to know. 99Hawk262 just ordered the same one and owns a level 4 as well. I'm sure he will love the combo as well. Vince

^^^Can't wait to get mine in. What gear are you running Matt D? I have 4.10's waiting to go in, but I'll be honest and say that I'm not too sure about them on the street. I'm excited to get them, but a little wary that they may be too much.

I had a 3.42 gear in mine and went 11.71 @ 114 with a 1.57 60ft in 80 degree weather three weeks ago. The DA was horrible, like +1700.

My car is actually at the shop right now getting 4.10s put in; I can't wait. It should be in the low 11s with the new gear and cool air.

It might be too much for the street as far as traction goes, depending on your suspension and tires. I have full suspension and a full slick, so I hook pretty good
