WOT; it hits the rev. limiter?? need help

Default WOT; it hits the rev. limiter?? need help

OK guys, at wot tha car shifts find from 1st to 2nd but from 2nd to 3rd its hitin tha rev. limiter 4 a sec. then it will shilf to 3rd just started doing this! its a stock 4l60e with a 3200 vig tha car has bn tuned and shift ponits and rev. limiter has bn haised thanks john mods; aw bolt ons and f 11 cam thanks john

Ordinarilly this can be contributed to one of two things... tuning or worn 3/4 clutches. Was anything on the car changed prior to this happening?

Try adjusting the tuning files to correct the issue. I am afraid that the clutches on your stock unit are showing their wear, adjusting the tune will help for a while in some cases.

I would say the tune is the culprit but you say you had it done? something might be off with it? retune it!

I think I spoke with you on phone I am betting on and impending 3-4 clutch failure but lowering the shift point may help for a while
