Shoot. I thought Yank was sooo good?
And right after I ordered a YTP4400 too!
Now I'm scared.

One was awesome but the other 2 dont lock up and shudder like your fillings are being pulled from your mouth.

jeez, i have a yank ST4000 built in feb of 02 and have had no problems. no shudders feeling. maybe something in mine was built with something different internally.
damn the shudder is that bad? it feels like your fillings are going to come out? wow, i thought it was a minor thing. at first i was really nervous and would look for any weird vibration, but it is hard to tell with my poly trans mount. now i hear it is a vibration that bad?

I've got about 8,000 trouble free miles on my YPT4200. Daily driven. Only issue was with torque management at part throttle. Edit took care of that. I believe most problems with high stall TC's in our cars is the TM - you take off, then timing gets pulled, then added, etc - the tranny/TC doesn't know what to do and gets caught in the middle of locking/unlocking. JMHO, otherwise I have no idea what I'm talking about.
I've had several Yanks, one with shudder. I Cured that with a couple minor changes in Edit.

Yup.. easy to blame bad tuning on the converter...

The shuddering I am having is under light to moderate acceleration with the converter locked - shakes the car like as if the engine were missing badly.
Whatever the case, I am switching to a TCS converter very soon - interested in trying those out for a number of reasons.
