do you have tunning or plan to get it? When you find out what the converter likes - for me it was around 1500rpms - you will be very impressed. Congrats on your new mod. In your sig it says you plan to get 3.42's, what gears do you have now? I have 3.42's in my car. Seems to be a good combo with that converter. Good Luck with it.

Right now I havet the stock 2.73's.... they suck, but the converter help a
hell of a lot. How much time did you shave off with the converter and gears?
How much tighter is the converter with the gears?

my car actually came with 3.23 gears I got some work done on my car's rear end once and just put the 3.42's in since they were free That was actually before I had a stall in the car so can't really give a comparison. Well actually I had a 3200 for about 6 months and the best time I got out of it was a 12.169 @ 111.16, and as you can see from my sig I have had no problems getting some 11 second passes with the 3600 that the converter was really the only change. I was very impressed with the Vig3600. My 60' times also improve going from the 3200 to the 3600.

Hey farmer... Jeff just talking about you today. Jeff is having a hell of a time tuning this car. What is your idle set at? Other than some tuning issues I am loving my 224 on 112. Cant wait to get those gears

my idles kinda high at 950 Anything lower and it just wanted to surge. I could live with say 900, but i'd rather have a little less lope and no surge

How can your car surge with a 114 LSA cam? I can see that it might want to die but not surge at idle.

My idle was around 700 the other day and it idled like a charm, but only for a while then it would surge. My cam is on a 112lsa so it is going to be harder to tune We will get it though

it never surged on cold starts or at idle. It just surged everynow and then on a warn start when the RPM's couldnt catch themselves

warm starts were the only issues I had mainly

I might have to go that route... I ported my MAF and that could be part of the problem
