The '92 silverado in my sig has a 1998 4L80E in it. Today I drove it about 8 miles running out of gas turning it on and off coasting, running, coasting, etc.
It put out a code 73 which in OBD1 is set when actual force motor current is more than 1.6 amps lower than commanded. It defaults to max line pressure.
Could this be caused by driving it like I was? or does it sound like the force motor is going out?
