I had a Vig3200 and now have Yank PT4000. Not really an apples to apples comparison for performance, but the Yank wins hands down. For a more streetable setup, I preferred the Vig.

VIGILANTE.

The vendor I bought my converter from said they had problems in the past with blower/high hp cars blowing through the yank ss series, so I went with the VIG, which was about the same price anyway.

Yeah, both seem to have a great following and both are very good companies...I have been using Vig since 1996 and have never looked back...The times in my sig were with a Vig 3600...I have since had it re-stalled to 4000 and will have to wait til Spring '08 to test it...I will say that the Vig has always been extremely streetable and very efficient, but hits very hard at the track...Its a great all around converter...Even Bryan Herter couldn't believe how hard the converter hit on the dyno....And they have great customer service...
