I said he used only brakes to get the car to downshift. I should have said he uses brakes while on the gas only to get the car to downshift.

It's not good on the forward clutches, theres my answer.

And he doesn't want any information on how to make his car so it'll downshift without power braking, and without losing time, (such as building the trans right and tuning it properly)so I deleted all my suggestions. And thats all I have to say.
