Yank ST3500 here.

Changed the trans filter every 5000 miles and add new fluid. 23,000 miles and 2500 drag strip passes later still going strong.

You'll be happy...I chose a PI brand converter for this car because I had such good luck with the last one I used. That one was mainly a drag car, probably had 500 or so 10 and 11 second passes on it, and who knows how many hard street miles, but never once had any issues or gave me anything to complain about. When that car finally finished it's useful life and was parted out, I still got 2/3rds of the original purchase price back for the converter when it was sold.

And you already know how I feel about the one I have now.

My Fuddle's lock up clutch is fried. I have the hp series 4000. I purchased it from a member on here and it had supposedly 400 miles on it. All I know is, my SS4000 is in the mail.

You had to replace your tranny too? I cannot afford that right now, I hope mine holds together until the new converter gets here.

you definitely cant go wrong with either. it seems as though the vig are better street verters and the yanks street/strip verters. im going with a vig 3200 for my car.

Yea i had to replace the tranny...when the lock up clutch gave out i was on the way home in one of the middle lanes of a 4 lane road......I didnt notice it wasnt locked up till i was about 2 blocks from the house, and wouldnt have been able to stop in the middle of the street....tranny built up loads of heat, and im assuming that something from inside the converter might have made it to my tranny pump.....when i went back out to see how it would drive i lost 4th gear....ITs all good tho, picked up the vig earlier this week and the car will be getting the new tranny prolly tuesday or wednesday of next week.....just glad it happned now that we are out for break from college, or else i woulndt have had a ride to school....

Rel3rd...I know i will love this new stall..just hope to pull some tire off the ground like u!!!!

40 miles per day, 6 days per week?

How bout 180 miles per day.. 5 days per week..

You cannot beat this Vig if you are looking for an efficient, S.O.P converter. Oh, and i have about 34K on mine now..

Vig and Yank are awesome Converters IMO...

I had alot of miles on my previous Yank SY3500... over 30K..

Good luck..

I have put 30K on the Vig/FLT level 4 tranny I have now with no problems even in traffic stop and go, idling, nothing has phased it and its never skipped a beat! When I say daily drive I mean daily drive too.. I put on 40 miles a day 6 days a week.

Even if it don't, it'll FEEL like it does, lol...

Here's a couple quick vids I made yesterday to help your wait...

The first two were just some quick WOT just until it broke the tires loose and eased off as soon as it upshifted. The third is just cruising in DRIVE. Figured I get a quick cruise in before we got some nasty winter weather here. (Also wanted to hear my new single in/single out catback, lol)

Good choice on the converter! it will be a ton better than the Fuddle.

lol.. well my 40 miles a day is in stop and go Chicago traffic. Its constant shifting and in and out of lockup. 20 miles each way to work takes me 45 mins on a decent day.. on a raining or snowing day.. yeah

I feel you brother.. Mine is in Dallas traffic, stop,go, coupled with the G5X3 cam, well... you can imagine.. Although a very streetable combo, the car does chop, and buck from time to time..

Really though, i wouldn't have it any other way!
