Also, would the tranny specs on the Computer need to be erased?

And would there need to be a rpm max set with fuel cuton and off.?

Who's kit are you going to install?

The reason I ask is that there is quite a bit more to it than Valve Body Mods. I highly recommend you install all of the components in the kit. We use the Trans Go HD-3 kit. It incorporates all of the -2 components and adds a Vacuum Modulator for line pressure control. It is a very thorough kit. I really do enjoy building these units! We have had great success with them.

Good Luck with it!

How is the shift firmness with this kit (HD-3)? And what controls the lockup once you install it..If I have a M6 and convert to a 4l60e with this kit will I have to wire up my own lock up switch? Im not wanting to switch to a auto wiring harness. Thanks for your help!

There are only two significant differences between the -2 and -3 kits. The inclusion of a 46 Mod (Vacuum Modulator kit) and the Manual conversion components. It is a very inclusive kit.

Lock-Up is not affected.

Yes you will need to hardwire a lock up switch if you do not go with a stand alone controller or conversion harness. Those harnesses are not that expensive... usually under $300.00 through Speartech.

Just wondering do you all use the stock shifter with manual valve bodies or do you use a different shifter such as B&M? Also does it have to be a fmvb or can it be a rmvb?
