Torque Converter Bolt, HELP!!!!!
Darn, we were movin on the trans swap and then this came up... The torque converter bolt (an allen bolt) is stripped now due to bad socket tool placement, and now I have no clue how to get this thing out, we tried strip sockets and we just can't fit the socket in there.... ANY IDEAS?

It stripped because it wasn't an Allen head, it was a Torx head that you tried to use an Allen tool on (has happened before). Try and see if a Torx bit will still work, I believe it is a T45 or T50. You can also try to squeeze in some vice grips and apply some penetrating lubricant to try and loosen it, you may need to whack it with a hammer to break it free. Another option is to file two parallel flat spots to use a wrench on it. Good luck!
A small pipe wrench. BTW-Thread locker is often used on those, so putting a little heat on the bolt head before hand will help if that's the case. Worst case scenario, cut the head off as close the the shoulder as possible... By removing the material above the shoulder, you relieve the tension between the shoulder and flexplate allowing you to back it out easily with a chissel.

We are gonna try the vice grips today and if those dont work we are either going to decide to weld or cut.... thanks guys...if you have any other ideas just post em up
I know when I used to work at a Harley Davidson Dealership, we would hammer in a Torx bit that was one size bigger than the hole. It would mess up the bolt head and sometimes the Torx bit, but they came out 99% of the time. But it doesnt look like you have enough room to do that there. Id try the welding trick.
Use an air hammer with a chisel bit. Don't try to hammer the head off, just hit on the right side of the bolt, and try to back it out. I've had to do it before. And for the record, I put regular bolts back in place of those.
I cut mine up with a cut-off wheel and then was able to hammer on one side to back it out. This was after heating it up with a torch and I did this for the two allen bolts I stripped out. If you have new bolts there's no reason to worry about these.
