What can a stock 480le trans hold for power/torque? What stall can handle up to 1000

Debatiing going to 480le. What can these take in stock form? What stall can handle up to 1000rwhp? Like Vigilantes do I need to get their 5 disc one or something? Also can someone pm me with list needed to convert my m6 car to 480 le?

I hear a 4L60 is a much better choice then a 4L80 trans.

for 1000 rwhp? might be a tough deal!

i know that parish has had 1000 rwhp survive behind his FLP 4L80e and vig 3 disc converter. try the search. lots of posts of his truck
