Trying to decide which company to use for my T350/400 conversion.

 

i have their th350 and converter. haven't run it yet though. still in the middle of the install. still have the trans cooler to finish up. but i can say that it is very high quality stuff! top notch! fwiw, my neighbor(8 sec car) and his brother(7 sec car) both run ati trannies as well.

 

I have both their convertor and TH400. They built my convertor to match the LS1 flexplate. I have had -0- problems with either. Quality units.

My brother runs their 8 inch 4,500 rpm treemaster in his car. He's never had any problems with it.

 

Thanks for the responses! Tim what stall,etc converter are you using? Any 60's with it?

 

they make their converters specific to each and every car. when you call, they will ask you a whole bunch of questions concerning your car. gear ratio, tire height, cam specs, motor size, dyno numbers, weight, type of racing you will be doing, etc..etc...

 

Ditto to what cenman says. You fill out a very detailed sheet about your entire setup. The plug all that info in and come up with a convertor for that. I have ~4000. 60's are in the hi 1.6 range with a 3700lb car.
