What size tranny cooler?
Always go as big as you can fit in terms of tranny cooling. There is no such thing as too cool. I now run a 19000 and a 24000 in serial to offset the heat retained by my tranny blanket in my daily driver. Keeps her nice in cool in stop and go construction traffic or on the street. The real test will be hot lapping and staying below 180 at the track.

Guys with B&M coolers:
-Does it mount to the radiator with those nylon zip tie-looking things or do you need some kind of bracket?
-Does the stacked plate design block airflow to the radiator?
TIA

You can use the zip tie locks if you want but you really don't need to if you size the lines properly. The short lengths and the weight of the cooler and coolant is enough to hold it firmly down into the front lip area in front of the condenser/radiator.
The airflow through the cooler and on through the radiator is adqueate and has no noticible impact to engine coolant temps.

It wasn't too big of a deal getting the 28000 to fit, it just was kind of a pain for me. The 28000 is tall enough so that you barely have enough room to fit it in top to bottom. You don't have enough room to mount the trans cooler all the way at the top of the the condenser. Basically, it just gets kinda tight installing the 28000 but it can be done. Id get the 24 if I was gonna do it again.
Sidenote...The 28000 doesn't come with any fittings or mounting hardware and I'm pretty sure all the other sizes do. the 28000 just has female pipe threads in it so you'll have to pick up some fittings to get it hooked up.

sorry.. forgot about this thread
The 28GVW was a synch to install... just can't have FTRA
It mounts right where the scoop is under the car (use those bolt holes). Wrap the lines around... the only disadvantage to the 28,000 (or at least the one I got) is it doesn't include the hardware ... but I just went to ACE and picked up the fittings and hose I needed.
Here's the difference between the a 19GVW and the 28

I'll try to remember to take a pic of how I mounted mine tomorrow... didn't need the wire ties... factory bolts...
