th400 want 1.3-1.4 60' yank? COAN???
I'd really like to pull some 1.3-1.4x 60' with my mti 422, rossler th400 w brake and tnt 100 shot.
How good are the COAN converters? what do I need to tell them when ordering for it to fit my flexplate? are there different bolt patterns for a th400 converter?
what is my best converter choice?
yank? I am thinking a pt4200
but it appears yank is no longer a sponsor?
tci or coan as good?
th400 350 guys what are your 60's?
what converter are you running?
thanks! <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Terry,
We could custom build a converter for you that has the correct pilot dimensions and bolt pattern to bolt to your LS1 engine. Feel free to give me a call if you're interested.

Kevin, any chance you guys would be willing to re-stall my current 8" JW converter and modify the pilot to properly seat into the back of the crank?
I think my converter is a little on the loose side for my application, and I'm thinking of sending it to JW for a re-stall, but having the correct lenght crank pilot would make life easier. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

George,
Just call up JW and tell them you need a crank pilot extension. I just had to measure how much my converter was out of the crank and they sent me a sweet little machined piece that slips over the crank pilot to make it extend into the crank.
I think I want to get mine restalled as well I think with the turbo motor I'm building this one will be WAY too loose for all that torque

Neal Chance..hands down. Look at whose convertors 90% of the 1800+hp Mustangs are using. They are awesome, but pricey. Mine was 1800.00. This will be the last one you buy.
