I think you will be happy with the choices you made. My Yank ss3600 shift at 1800-2200rpm around town and driving through heavy traffic the worst gas mileage I've ever had is 20 mpg. Perfect for a daily driver. I did lose 1-3 mpg but it was worth it since the car was so much more fun to drive.

On my stock Goodyear tires, traction is non existent. You will definitely need some good rubber to hook. I really can't go wot or punch it without the rear starting to slide. I plan on getting some MT drag radials soon though to fix that problem.
