TH400 swap guys, where to find... Looking for a speedo calibrator for swapping in a TH400.
I know Yank sells one for like $250+.
I was told I may be able to find one cheaper.
Where did you buy yours?

Re: TH400 swap guys, where to find... i think the lt1 guys use the tailshaft and vss from a 454ss pickup truck but i dunno if that will work with a ls1 setup.....lt1s are better anyway

YANK IS a RIP.use these 3 part#s from GM. 8655291/8655315/12085498.all combined these parts cost me round 120.00-130.00.if youre car was an origanal auto,itll work fine.if it was a m6,youll have to get some kinda correction with ls1.edit(basically if it was a m6 youre speedo will read double.

Does that mean the speedo will read fine, or are you saying it's a plug & play?
I'm just wondering how these items go on the 400, and what (& how), has to be addapted to make this work. Some insight please. Thanks.

Re: TH400 swap guys, where to find... If you are going from an A4 to an A3 then your speedo will be accurate. If going from an M6 to an A3 then you will be 2.4 times off. LS1Edit can take care of that.
