Default PT4400=ST3500 in normal driving

I drove my friend's hawk with PT4400 in a stop and go, up and down hill streets, and honestly it felt like my Z28 under normal city driving.

I thought PT4400 stalls are very loose but on the contrary it was tight like a virgin. I was simply suprised how damn tight it was.

WOT is crazy though, it puts my ST3500 to shame.

I think you're ST3500 is just really loose .

Bene is the one who filmed these runs. I was very surprised when he said this. My SS4000 was considerably tighter than the PT4400. Bene's ST3500 was my 1st converter. It felt almost exactly like the SS4000 as far as normal accleration. He also has 3.42's compared to my 3.23's. I wonder if something was changed when you had it rebuilt? Both are 2.5 STR but the PT4400 should be quite a bit looser. I still think it's pretty loose (based on my experience with the ST3500 and SS4000). Interesting take nonetheless.

My PT4000 feels much tighter than a friends fuddle 3500 and a few other similar converters i've experienced. People always shy away from the higher stall speeds without ever actually finding someone who has one and checking it our for themselves.
