Default LS2 flexplate

Part #12602448; going with a Yank converter and figured it would be a good idea to upgrade during the install. Is this a direct replacement for the stock LS1 flexplate? Any other things necessary like spacers or longer bolts? Search turns up very little info about the swap. TIA

I think they both have 168 teeth. They're also both 14". And that's about all I can find.

What I want to install is an LS2 flexplate and Yank converter with ARP TC and flexplate bolts. I want to know that all those parts are compatible before I tear into the trans, if possible.

honestly, i'd stick with what is tried and true, a TCI SFI flexplate, a little more but gets the job done nicely

Have heard of various problems with the TCI. Since my car doesn't see much "abuse" I think the LS2 plate would be more than sufficient for it (still running the stock '02 flexplate), and at a decent price. I'm also one of the few that thinks GM engineers may even have some idea what they're doing

well, as far as that goes you'd be fine with a 98-99 flexplate then.

That's an option. I figure the LS2 plate is probably similar to the earlier design.

All the old part numbers I looked up were superceded by the LS2 part. I even found an old pic posted:
