Default Ordering B&M shift improver

Im glad Ive got a 98.

Bigger injectors, and a 39.95 dollar part that will let me select 2 trans performances modes and an off button.

Anyone have one of these? Whats your take on it?

Thunder Racing has them for '98 only Z28s/TAs pn: 59-70380.

All that switch does is jack up your line pressure. Too much line pressure is a bad thing.

yup. a couple years back several guys had their tranny fail prematurely and the high line pressure was a direct cause.

Those are bad for a trans! Stay as far away as you can. A fully installed TransGo (one washer) with billet servos barks the tires on my truck at 4500rpms!

I am pulling the washer in the 1-2 accumulator to tone down the 1-2 shift early next week...the excessive weight will kill my trans with shifts that hard.

Stick with TransGo for better shifts all over and a better acting trans.

I agree 100%! Don't even think about getting that junk. Get a trans-go and it will not only make your shifts awesome, but extend the life of your trans.

I've had one in for a year with no problems.
The first setting is all I tried and it's fine. The second setting is probably
too much The shifts are firm-a lot firmer than stockand it works fine with a
converter which tends to soften the shifts up to the point where you can't
hardly feel them. I've used it with both a Yank ST3000
and a SS3600.
As far as boosting line pressure, three guesses as to what a HPP III or a
Predator do.
Boost line pressure.
Duh.

I've got a HPP III and am going to turn off the Shift+ to see how the HPPP III
compares. I'll bet it's damn close.
