Is there a problem with your 700?

Does it shift late or maybe early?

Nothing wrong with tranny. It was rebuilt a year ago with kevlar bands and shift kit.

Is there a problem? when I used to build 700's I would fine tune the shift points using different governor springs and weights.
If you can describe a problem someone can help explain what you need to do to get it to shift right when you want it to.

There is no normal, or typical shift points, maybe straight out of the factory, but they can be custom tuned exactly to where you want them.

not at WOT, but from a stop, you slowly press on the gas during city driving through streets..

It would vary according to how much throttle theres not a fixed value for that very light throttle 10 to 15 mph

I installed the Sonnax Corrector Spring and reset my cable. The result is the first shift (driving slow) is where the needle is almost 3/4 the length of the speedo.. So around 3500-4000rpm which means there is like a 3 second delay before it shifts.

Sounds like you need to play with the TV at idle should be pulled about 1/4 inch at WOT maxed out , You may need to work on the distance from center on the card to get that
