Whats the verdict on line pressure. I'm getting a torque converter installed soon and I'm a little confused on what I should do. Right now I have custom tuning and we raised the line pressure a bit. I a-taped and it reported about 60psi at the shift points. Would I be ok if I just keped it the way it is or bring it down to stock and put in a shift kit.

software can change your line pressure
at low/mid load, but I guess only hardware
can change your pump / regulator maximum,
which is what you need at WOT for holding
power.

Re: Whats the verdict on line pressure. Art Carr recc. with gauge installed in pressure port at wot you should have 250 psi line pressure in order for trans to live you may want to replace stock pump rotor it's powder metal and can explode with that pressure they make a billet one.
